Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year.  I am honored to return as your principal and reconnect with our returning students and to meet the newest members of the Buffum family joining us this year.  Many new and exciting things are happening this year that I want to share with you:

  • Our school begins at 10:00 AM and ends at 1:00 PM.
  • The gates will open at 9:50 AM to allow parents to walk their students to the classroom.  The gates will open at 12:50 PM for dismissal.
  • The cafeteria will start serving breakfast at 9:30 AM.  At this time, you can enjoy breakfast with your child and walk them to the classroom at 9:55 AM.  Parents must remain with their child the entire time.  The cafeteria is only able to provide breakfast to Buffum students.
  • We are a Class Dojo school!  This is a wonderful mode of communication to ensure you are aware of all the things happening in the classroom and school wide.  Please sign up with your child's teacher!
  • We encourage our parents to volunteer, there are many tasks and events that volunteers can assist with at Buffum.  Please see the link on the website or Class Dojo to complete the application.

I, along with our excellent teacher and support staff at Buffum, are excited to partner with your family; to work as a team to help your student have a productive, enjoyable school year.
